Del Taco 99 cent, 1/2 pound, bean and cheese burrito with extra cheese and red sauce
This burrito is incredible. What are you doing reading this blog? You should be eating this burrito, seriously, go, do it now, and don't forget to order it with extra cheese.
Back? Got your burrito? Great.
The cheese has a deliciously powerful salty kick to it, but oozes out with the warm beans in a mess of delightfully (if not alarmingly) consistent flavor. The flour tortilla gives some semblance of actually being made from a grain, rather than the sterile representation of a tortilla that can arise at some fast food places. I don't know what the red sauce is, but it's amazing. It truly binds the refried beans and copious quantities of cheese together, taking the burrito from an array of clashing solo flavors to a coherent symphony. There is a hint of onions in the refried beans which gives the impression that there is more to the burrito than the few simple ingredients you see. This burrito may be one of the greatest pieces of fast food ever invented.
Sorry about the alien autopsy-style photo, it was too boring all wrapped up.

In high school, I watched the X-Files way too much.
You're right, that burrito pic looks like an alien autopsy photo.
